Grid Connection Manager - Solar Projects (m/f/d)
Field: Renewable Energy
Location: Munich, Germany - Remote work possible in Germany
You will take over the communication with the grid operator DNO/TSO and make sure that the projects are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner in accordance with the technical specifications of the relevant DNO/TNO and applicable law.
Your Role
Provide technical assistance during project development for all factors influencing and influenced by the grid connection;
Perform technical due diligence/ Risk assessment on grid connection scheme/ grid offers received from DNO/TNO;
Provide cost estimates and grid connection delivery time, schedules to business development;
Manage and be responsible for the process for grid applications, ensuring they are submitted in a timely manner and progress through the DNO/TNO processes;
Maintain relation the DNO/TNO to support grid application;
Review technical designs for MV/HV and establish preliminary designs;
Manage contractors and suppliers of different elements required for grid connection;
Negotiate and develop grid connection designs;
Provide general grid expertise and grid intelligence;
Manage certification process of grid connection;
Commissioning of MV stations and management of contractors to commissioning HV stations;
Ensure Protection testing is done as required and managing contractors and service providers for protection testing.
Your Profile
Experience in grid connection
Knowledge of MV and HV and Protection concepts;
Driving license;
Knowledge of Grid connection standards like the VDE-AR-N41xx series;
TABs and other relevant standards;
Experience in MV and HV construction management;
Simulation knowledge is a plus;
Fluent German and English
Switching permit is a plus.
